First Federal Savings Bank Receives Five Star Award

Congratulations to Chamber member First Federal Savings Bank! They received a Five Star Award from the Indiana Bankers Association at their Mega Conference last month. They were one of only 32 banks in the entire state to be granted this award, which recognized their commitment to the Association in the areas of political awareness, issue advocacy, life-long learning, volunteerism and community involvement.

We recently did a blog post on their $50/$50 charity fundraiser - just one example of those efforts which rightfully earned them this award.

The Bankers Association works collectively to improve the business environment for banking to a far greater extent than any single institution could accomplish on its own. Each member institution (like First Federal) supports this mission - without them, it would not be possible.

First Federal employees who attended the Conference included Cindy Krumanaker, DeeAnn Hammel, Ian Hope, Michael Zahn, Randy Sizemore, Satin Lemon and Lupka Baloski - and pictured here you can see Cindy (VP of Information Systems) receiving their award from Joe DeHaven, the President of the Indiana Bankers Association.
