Voices of Unity is on Their Way to China… With Your Help!

If you don’t live in a hole (and I’m sure none of you do), then you’ve heard about the Voices of Unity choir’s privilege and honor of being invited to represent the United States at the World Choir Games in Shaoxing, China. This is a great opportunity take Fort Wayne, Indiana to the world stage. A huge congratulations and acknowledgement is due to this choir for their hard work in the fine arts – clearly it’s paid off!

Voices of Unity still needs help, however, in order to send their 78-student choir to China. As you can imagine, this not an inexpensive venture. Many businesses and organizations have stepped up to the plate to help this group reach their funding goals, but much help is still needed. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available in the areas of media, marketing, public relations, fundraising, administrative, and travel planning. They are also looking for people who can assist in training and coaching the students and preparing them to compete at the highest artistic level.

If you are able to offer any help in terms of financial support, in-kind services, or resources, please don’t hesitate. For more information on Voices of Unity and how you can get involved, visit upaf.com or call (260) 481-6719. You can also read more here
