CVB Educates Local Hospitality Professionals on Fort Wayne's Finest

The Fort Wayne/Allen County Convention & Visitors Bureau recently held a seminar to educate front line employees in our hospitality industry about Fort Wayne. On May 13, 2010 at Parkview Field they held "The Best of Fort Wayne - Share the Experience." It was attended by over 60 people. The mission was to provide customer service training and Fort Wayne information for any employee that meets, greets, or serves visitors to Fort Wayne.

There were different segments throughout the day, led by local leaders including Dr. John Niser, Chair of IPFW's Hospitality Management program, and Judy Lake, Manager of Fort Wayne International Airport's Welcome & Information Volunteer Program. Each participant left with information and resources to help them better serve the Fort Wayne visitors they come into contact with - as well as passes to local attractions (hey, they've got to see for themselves what makes this place so great!).

The CVB will offer this training program for any hotel, restaurant chain, convention center, sports venues, attractions, or museums that are interested.
Contact the CVB for more on that, and read more about this seminar here.
