I met with one of our newest Chambers members today--St. Jude Catholic School. After a nice conversation with the Principal, Sister Kathleen Knueven, I was treated to a tour of the school and introduced to many of the teachers---would you believe Mr. Barnes is still there from when I was a first grader? Mr. Barnes has been teaching 2nd grade at St. Jude for over 40 years. My brother, Pat, had him for a teacher. I wonder how many of you reading this know of Mr. Barnes or even had him for your 2nd grade teacher? I think that says a lot for St. Jude....I admit I have been MIA for a while on the BLOG as my feet have been more in the building than on the street lately, but I look forward to chatting with you again in the near future.
