Fort Wayne's First Retail Apple Store Opens

Signature Mac, Fort Wayne’s first retail store selling Apple Computers and iPods, is now open at 430 East Coliseum Boulevard, just West of Glenbrook Square. Signature Mac’s 5000 square foot showroom has a full line of demos including iMac, Mac Mini, MacBook, iPod Nano, iPod Touch, Apple TV’s, accessories and more. The worlds thinnest notebook, the MacBook Air is now on display

The store is open Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for April 25th at 1 p.m.

Signature Mac gives the customer a hands on experience with the Apple product line. Mac Specialists will help customers determine the best solution for your needs. If they just need help setting up a Mac or getting the most out of an iPod, the store can provide one-on-one support and advice. Workshops are now in the planning stages.

Signature Mac is also an authorized Apple warranty and repair center for all Macs and iPods. Most repairs are done in the store. In fact, the store has earned Apple’s top “Premier Specialists” ranking… an honor bestowed on only 100 or so of the top dealers in the country.

Signature Mac is owned and operated by Mike Carper and Bill Koch. Mike is well known in Fort Wayne as a Mac expert in service and repair with over 25 years experience. Bill has been in the industry just as long. A combined 50 years experience.
