Woodview Assisted Living Celebrates New Memory Care Facility

By Lauren Richwine, Communications Specialist

Congratulations to Chamber member Woodview Assisted Living on the grand opening of their new Memory Care facility! Woodview owner John August participated in a Chamber ribbon cutting to mark the occasion along with Angela Buckland, Administrator, Anna Eckert, Memory Care Director, Doug Sylvester, Woodview Partner, and Joanna Harris, Marketing Director. Following the ribbon cutting guests were invited to enjoy live singing, cocktails, and fabulous food prepared by Woodview’s own chef.

The new Memory Care facility boasts state of the art rooms that have been designed to be completely handicap accessible and decorated in a warm, homey style. Quiet rooms are available for residents who are having a particularly difficult day and helps cut down on all unnecessary stimuli. Residents who can are encouraged to be as active as possible by taking part in things such as washing their own laundry.
