Nominations Sought for Annual Innovation Awards

The Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly is preparing for their annual popular Innovation Awards which will take place Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Sweetwater Sound. They are seeking nominations for the awards. If you or someone you know has developed an innovative business, product, or service - now is the time to show that off! The Innovation Awards will recognize innovative companies and individuals in the 16-county Fort Wayne region. 

Category winners will be selected in August then will present their innovation to the panel of judges in September. The panel includes Don Wood, 80/20 Corporation; Kathy Carrier, Briljent; Dane Miller, Biomet Founder; Elton Bishop, Digital Hydraulics; Don Willis, Fourth Wave, LLC; Dorian Maples, Dorian Maples Associates; Tom Cottrell, BKD.

The Innovator of the Year will be chosen from this group and announced at the Awards. Categories include:

• Health Care
• Manufacturing & Distribution
• Real Estate
• Construction & Design
• Retail
• Services
• Technology
