Happy Birthday To...

Us! We are excited to be celebrating 135 years of service to the Fort Wayne community! Did you know that The Chamber in its original form was founded in 1875?

It began when a group of merchants wanted to meet together to share challenges and solutions. I like the thought of that original group - business people who saw a need, and got together to work together and help each other. That's what The Chamber still does today - The Chamber IS the members, and together you form a great network of support for each other, and your combined force enables us (the Chamber staff, your hands and feet) to accomplish some great things on your behalf.

The Chamber has been a part of the Fort Wayne community for a long time, and we intend to continue that service to local business. Times have changed, business has changed, and with it so has the Chamber so we can better serve your needs - but our ultimate goal remains the same: To create a vibrant economic environment by supporting you, advocating for you, and fostering partnerships within the community to advance a common economic vision.

We're planning to officially celebrate our 135 years of service at our Annual Meeting on November 4, 2010 at the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne at Grand Wayne Convention Center, and we hope that you will join us! In the meantime, be watching for more tidbits about our 135 years...
