Stuart Manufacturing Also Lands on Inner City 100 List

I should know to double-check any comprehensive list of successful companies or national awards to be sure I'm not missing any of our members, because they are turning out the awards at a rapid rate! In addition to Aptera Software's ranking on the Inner City 100 list, Chamber member Stuart Manufacturing comes in at #17 on the list as well!

Just to recap, the list is created by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, and spotlights growing companies in urban areas. The ICIC produces data to demonstrate that companies can thrive in inner cities - and that there are competitive advantages to the inner city location. The list ranks the fastest-growing inner city businesses in the country.

Stuart Manufacturing has almost 300 workers (as of '08) and demonstrated a standard growth rate of 420% from 2004 to 2008. Stuart Manufacturing designs and manufactures electronic and electromechanical components.
