SCAN 2010 Brown Bag Lunch: Can’t Get Enough Casa D’Angelo!
by Lauren Richwine, Communications Specialist
It’s a fact that you haven’t tasted Fort Wayne history until you’ve tasted Casa D’Angelo. On Wednesday, March 31, SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) will be offering their 2010 Brown Bag Lunches and the lunches this year hail directly from the Casa kitchens. All the proceeds will benefit SCAN and you can order individual orders or family-style orders.
Other sponsors for the event include Nu Insulation, Custom Art, Cintas, Hall’s Takes the Cake, Fort Wayne Paper Products, Indiana Baking Co., Pizza Hut, Kelly Box & Packaging, The Rogers Co., and Waynedale Bakery. Delivery the day of will require a minimum of five individual orders or one family-style order. Orders will also be available for pick up at the 3402 Fairfield Ave. location of Casa D’Angelo. Though sadly the restaurant is now closed at that location, they have agreed to allow SCAN to use the facility for pick up.
For more information about SCAN or this event in particular, call 260-421-5000. Orders can be placed now via fax at 260-421-5003 or online at www.scanfw.org. Even if you’re not in the mood for food, you can still donate to SCAN and help support Day-break Crisis Homes. Only 2,800 of these delicious meals will be available so make sure you order early!
