Membership Event aims for 175 new Chamber members

Recently, Chamber President and CEO, Mike Landram, heard these words, “Good morning Mr. Landram. This is your mission, if you choose to accept it.”

With a faintly familiar TV theme playing in the background, the recorded voice went on: “Should you and your team be successful, you will secure your place as the second-largest metro Chamber of Commerce in Indiana. Your point men: Fort Wayne’s elite business leaders. Good luck, Mike. This tape will self-destruct in 5 seconds.”

As Mike pushed back from his desk to avoid the tape shrapnel, he knew exactly who to call: Chamber Chairman of the Board Pat Sullivan.

With strategic precision, Mike and Pat met with the nine point men who would make this mission possible: Don Schenkel, Mike Christman, Greg O’Daniel, Mike Packnett, Michael Barranda, Mike Eikenberry, Mike Cahill, Bill Becker, and Tim Borne. With their help, this mission would become successful.

Each of the nine point men has created his own elite force that will aid them in their mission. To successfully complete this mission, their combined forces, a staggering 250 elite force members, will secure 175 new Chamber memberships during the Chamber Membership event June 7 and June 8.

They will be informing businesses of the benefits of membership and encouraging business to become a part of this ground breaking mission.
