Popular social media session brought back for an encore

The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce invites you to "Social Media Tools and Strategies: Proven Ways to Maximize ROI," a Chamber Academy event at The Chamber, 826 Ewing St., on Wednesday, April 27, from 8-10 a.m. This Academy is an encore of a popular event from last month.

Join Asher Agency’s Anthony Juliano, Kevin Erb, and Julianne Will for a close look at the pros and cons of some of the most well-known social media tools, like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as well as some underappreciated tools and strategies, like blogs, discussion forums and niche networks.

Jeff Fanter of Ivy Tech Community College will join Asher in presenting an overview of his organization’s social media strategy — and the opportunities and challenges Ivy Tech has experienced along the way. You'll learn how to choose the right tools for your business, map out a strategy, and maintain momentum in a no-hype, honest discussion of what it takes to get the highest return on your investment in social media.

Cost of this Chamber Academy is $19 for Chamber members and $39 for nonmembers. Payment for this event is nonrefundable.

For more information, contact Liz Struckholz at (260) 424-1435, ext 259, or lstruckholz@fwchamber.org.

Chamber Academy will begin promptly at 8 a.m.

The Chamber Academy series is presented by Salin Bank.

I attended the first event and I'm glad I did. Mr. Erb and Mr. Juliano are always on point and have tremendous insight. However, note that while the discussion dives into the pros and cons of various platforms, it does not cover ROI from a quantitative standpoint. It is a wonderful format for those wading into social media waters. Great value.
