Learn the secrets of workplace wellness at March seminar

Learn how to build a wellness initiative in your organization at the informative half-day educational session, "Workplace Wellness: Changing Corporate Culture," on March 9 from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at IPFW’s Walb Student Union.

The event is sponsored by The Wellness Council of Indiana and the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.

Intended for all size companies, this program will review steps employers need to take to implement a results-based wellness program that will positively affect their bottom line. The program will also discuss how to create a culture of health and wellness in the workplace

The keynote speaker is Dr. Troy Adams, one of the leading academics in the field of corporate wellness. He will focus on practical tools and steps employers can take to impact the health and productivity of their workforce and, in turn, their bottom line. Dr. Adams is the co-owner and founder of WellSteps, a worksite wellness solution that reduces health care costs and improves employee productivity.

Also, the YMCA 2011 Worksite Wellness Award winners will be recognized and 19 different wellness vendors and organizations will be represented.

Cost of registration is $25 for Wellness Council members, $30 for Chamber members and $35 for nonmembers. A group registration for a table for eight is $175. Registration includes the speaker, breakfast, networking opportunities, and a corporate wellness resources list.
