Georgetown Subway will celebrate its dedication with a ribbon cutting and all-day entertainment on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m.
Participating in the ribbon cutting will be Georgetown Subway owner Jeff Sebeika, Indiana State House Representative Bob Morris, the Snider High School cheerleaders, and representatives from the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.
The new Georgetown Subway is located at 6501 E. State Blvd.
Live entertainment will take place throughout the day. Performers include The Fort Wayne Ballet, The Fort Wayne Youtheatre, the Todd Harrold Trio, the Northeast School of Dance, the David Todoran/Brad Kuhns Duo and members of the Northrop High School Charisma Show Choir. Prizes will also be given away throughout the day. Children’s activities, provided by Kids on the Go, will include fingernail painting, craft tables, and a 7:30 p.m. outdoor screening of the movie "Monsters, Inc."
The new Georgetown Subway’s distinctive features include a big-screen TV, a cozy fireplace corner with leather seating, and a unique-to-the-region drive-view lane where customers can watch their sandwiches being made through a large picture-window.
