This is one of the most unique and creative events I've seen! Chamber member Jack Laurie Floors is holding a SCARY CHAIR competition. That's right - SCARY CHAIRS!
And truly, these are scary.
For the past couple of weeks Jack Laurie has been accepting submissions of scary (ugly) office chairs. Twelve luck winners will get to pick out a new office chair from Jack Laurie's selection of in-stock office furniture. The winners will be announced at the Competition Cookout this Thursday, July 8 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Jack Laurie Business Furniture Warehouse (1515 North Harrison Street). Burgers and brats will be grilled by company CEO John Laurie.
The Cookout is free and open to the public, so come support the winners! (And enjoy some burgers and brats.) But first - vote! View pictures of all the submissions, and vote for your favorite chair (i.e., the scariest) on Facebook. See you Thursday!
