Here's another great awards event to make note of. Nominations are being accepted for the annual “Health Care Heroes” awards by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly. Winners will be honored at a breakfast on September. The third annual Health Care Heroes awards will honor companies, individuals and organizations for their contributions to improving health care in the Greater Fort Wayne region.
A winner and a runner up will be honored in each of the following categories: Community Achievement in Health Care, Physician, Advancement in Health Care, Medical Professional, and Volunteers. You can find nomination forms here. Don't forget, the nomination deadline is July 30.
While we're on the subject, now is also a good time for a reminder about the annual Innovation Awards. The Fort Wayne region’s most successful entrepreneurs will judge and select the most innovative companies in the area. Any company in the Fort Wayne region (from start-ups to large corporations) is eligible to compete.
Innovation Awards Categories include: Emerging Company, Health Care, Manufacturing & Distribution, Retail, Professional Services, Technology, Best Innovative Idea, and Real Estate Construction & Design Innovation Award. Applications are due by August 20. Applications can be found here.
