We'd like to welcome Chamber member The History Center to the blogosphere! They recently launched a blog with postings from local historians and writers. “History Center Notes and Queries” is available at historycenterfw.blogspot.com.
The idea is to present a variety of articles about Fort Wayne's events and people. Initial offerings have included posts on Lindenwood Cemetary's 150th anniversary, Civil Ware heroine Eliza George, and how to determine the accuracy of historical photograph descriptions.
The blog is intended to supplement the History Center’s publications such as the “Old Fort News” and provide information for those wishing to know more about our community as they explore the museum and other historical sites in the city and county.
