Great Gateway Green-Up Takes Place Tomorrow

Don't forget that the Downtown Improvement District needs your help tomorrow for the The Great Gateway Green-Up! The DID and Business On Broadway are partnering with several local businesses and organizations to cleanup several key gateways around downtown. Volunteers will help remove weeds, litter, debris, and other materials that have collected on sidewalks and beneath viaducts over the winter.

This opportunity will take place from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, May 15th, both downtown and on Broadway Street. The work downtown will include areas around Baker Street from Calhoun to Fairfield, and the work on Broadway will center around the intersection of Broadway and Taylor.

Please bring your own tools (shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.) and join the DID as they work to make downtown an even brighter place!
