Women United Offers Mentoring

I've just learned about an exciting new opportunity. Women United, a United Way of Allen County committee,  has begun offering mentoring opportunities for women interested in developing and discovering ways to become involved in the community. Community leaders from various backgrounds, professions, and interests have volunteered to act as mentors and develop relationships with other women (mentees) interested in leadership.

Women United is a group of philanthropists who support
United Way of Allen County. Their mission is to support United Way of Allen County’s mission by creating a powerful network of women philanthropists to address identified issues through leadership, fundraising and advocacy.

Women interested in becoming a mentee can download an application at
www.unitedwayallencounty.org. The form should be submitted to Angelique Causey at angeliquec@uwacin.org no later than Friday, April 2.

Speaking of strong female role models and business mentors... I'm off to the Annual Athena Awards
®! Hope to see you there!
