Thanks for a Great Community Awareness Week!

We owe a very special thanks to all who contributed to making last week's Chamber Community Awareness Week a success. Without the Chamber members and board members who volunteered their time to touch base with their friends and associates, and the Chamber businesses who offered great prize incentives for our volunteers, Community Awareness Week would not have happened! Special thanks also to Mayor Tom Henry for joining us to to officially proclaim March 1-5, 2010 as Chamber Community Awareness Week. We are now 90 businesses stronger in the Chamber network! Visit our Web site to see a list of our new members, our volunteers, and prize sponsors. Visit our Facebook page to see tons of great pictures from the week...

On another note, brand new member Leaders Staffing has additional reason to celebrate today. Each business that invested in the Chamber during Community Awareness Week was entered into a grand prize “Golden Ticket” drawing, and Leaders Staffing was the lucky winner. Today our president went out to present the Leaders Staffing team with their Golden Ticket. Pictured, from left, are Mike Landram, Chamber President, Nate Golm, Leaders Staffing Owner, Barbara Stevens, Staffing Coordinator, Diana Godinez, Senior Manager of Staffing Coordinators, and Gregg Kurtz, Business Development. The prize package includes a foursome in the Chamber Golf Outing, complimentary tickets to several Chamber events, and one year of free membership - not bad!
