On April 10 of this year, Chamber member
Turnstone will host Northeast Indiana's first ever disAbilities Expo at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. This free expo will include over 60 vendors who provide products and services to people with disabilities, hearing or vision loss and seniors and their caregivers. Several workshops will take place throughout the day, addressing topics specifics to the needs of those with physical disabilities and their caregivers (topics include universal design, canine companionship, social networking, health and recreation and new happenings in the world of therapy). The expo will also feature adaptive sports demonstrations, fashion shows, and an art exhibition.
