Drop Your Avant Garde...

Be sure you mark your calendars for the Downtown Improvement District's brand new event: "Drop Your Avant Garde: Breaking Down the Barriers to the Art World." I'm already intrigued. 

The event takes place February 6 from 6 p.m. until midnight, and includes multiple venues including four pop up galleries allowing you to "pop up" anywhere you like throughout the evening. There will be live music, food and drink specials, and of course - art, in unconventional urban spaces. For more information visit the DID's Web site.
