On September 5, John Sampson, President and CEO of Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, will travel to Asia with Mitch Daniels as part of the 2009 Asia Trade Mission.
First they will visit Zhejiang, the Chinese sister-state to Indiana. From there they will embark to Japan where they will spend time in Tochigi Prefecture, the Japanese sister-state to Indiana. They will also attend the Japan-U.S. Midwest Conference in Tokyo.
Sampson has made trips such as this before, having participated in both a week-long mission to Japan and a trade mission to Europe in the year 2007.
