Worksite Wellness Awards Approaching

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne is seeking entries for the 2009 Worksite Wellness Awards. The "Worksite Wellness: Building from the Top" conference will take place Thursday, March 12 at the Walb Student Union of IPFW. Award winners will be announced at the conference. The YMCA will be giving out three awards based on worksite size: Small (1-49 employees), medium (50-249 employees), and large (250+ employees). Award recipients will receive an engraved plaque, and will have the opportunity to present their worksite wellness program to guests at the conference.

The Worksite Wellness Awards raise awareness of the importance of successful workplace wellness programs and the positive impact they have on employees, and in turn, businesses. The application and assessment process will include ways to incorporate wellness in the workplace, and will benefit worksites at all stages of wellness development.
For additional information and entry forms contact Karen Tanner at (260) 918-2148 or karen_tanner@fwymca.org. The application fee of $25 will also give your worksite two tickets to the conference.

Completed assessments and fees must be turned in to the YMCA by Friday, February 20.
