Economic Stimulus Could Provide Local Boost

The federal economic stimulus package could provide a direct boost to at least one local Fort Wayne business. Chamber member, WaterFurnace Renewable Energy Inc. President and CEO Bruce Ritchey says the plan includes a 30% tax credit for homeowners who install a geothermal heat pump. WaterFurnace already employs nearly 290 directly and says another 300 jobs are related to its supplier and service companies.
