Jeff Babicz Signature Series Colossal model guitar of Babicz Guitars has been featured in a recent book release from Lark Publications.Author Robert Shaw says this of the Babicz guitar: “Jeff Babicz’s guitars employ three unique solutions to problems inherent to traditional flattops. Most notably, Babicz’s ‘lateral compression soundboard’ anchors the strings directly the lower part of the soundboard rather than the bridge..."
The book, “Hand Made, Hand Played; The Art & Craft of Contemporary Guitars” features over 300 hand-made guitars illustrated in full color and focuses on the artisans who made them. The book was released on October 7 and can be found at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com.
