City Looks for Parking Input

Business owners and the public are invited to hear more about downtown parking plans next week. The City of Fort Wayne will host two sessions open to the public to explore ways to implement a parking authority for downtown.

Representatives from Carl Walker, a parking consultant that the City has been working with to review downtown parking, will make a presentation and take comments and questions from the audience.

The sessions will be 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Grand Wayne Center.

The proposed parking authority, which is currently under development, will serve a planning purpose to ensure downtown parking inventory is developed and coordinated strategically in alignment with the other goals of downtown revitalization.
