Disney Institute sold out; Ivy Tech adds second day

Ivy Tech Community College–Northeast announced this morning that its Disney Institute professional development program scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, has sold out to the facility’s capacity at Holiday Inn Fort Wayne. The program will have 180 area professionals, leaders, and aspiring leaders attend the full-day event.

Due to the overwhelming response from the community, Ivy Tech–Northeast Chancellor Jerrilee K. Mosier announced today that the college will open a second day offering of Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence. This additional program will take place on Tuesday, April 19, at the Holiday Inn Fort Wayne.

Details, pricing, and timing all remain the same as the initially scheduled and sold out seminar on April 20. This additional program will open up about 90 additional seats.

"We couldn’t have asked for a better response from northeast Indiana and the surrounding community," said Ivy Tech–Northeast Chancellor Jerrilee Mosier. "Area business professionals are in for a treat, and the college is proud to be able to offer this world-class training right here at home."

Sponsored locally by Ivy Tech Community College–Northeast, the full-day event on both days will allow area professionals to learn how a leader’s behaviors are instrumental in conveying values, guiding strategy, and inspiring passion and interest among employees.

The program will give participants new ideas for being more effective leaders and generating high-performance teams. Ivy Tech–Northeast is also partnering with Indiana’s NewsCenter and The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce to provide this leadership opportunity to the northeast Indiana community.

Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence gives participants the chance to explore proven Disney leadership philosophies that encourage values that produce results and are fundamental for organizations to grow and succeed.

Program registration is $359 per person prior to March 21 (early-bird registration) or $399 after March 21 (regular registration). The price includes all course materials, a continental breakfast, and lunch. Employers sending five or more participants receive $20 off each registration. Ivy Tech alumni, students, and employees will receive a $20 discount, as well.
