Raytheon Defense Contract Expanded

More news for Northeast Indiana's prolific defense industry. The U.S. Department of Defense has announced that Chamber member Raytheon Company has been awarded a modification to a current contract, increasing their funding ceiling from $53,640,000 to $61,140,000. The three year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for the procurement and sustainment of multiband/multimission radio systems in support of U.S. Special Operations Command.

Work completed under the contract is performed right here in Fort Wayne as well as in Largo, Florida, and is projected to be completed in September of 2011.
