So You've Sat in the Embassy Theatre Audience...

by Lauren Richwine, Communications Specialist

…but have you ever sat on the Embassy Theatre stage? On April 14, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:30 the Embassy Theatre will present The Embatini on their own stage. The affair will include fine dining by Catablu, cocktails, musical demonstrations on the Grande Page Theatre Pipe Organ by Gletus Goens II, and Embassy history. Tickets are $85 and reservations must be made by April 5 by calling 260.424.6287. Seating on the Embassy stage is limited, so act quickly to take advantage of this unique event.

Kristin Goetterman was a 2009 Embatini attendee. She had the following to state regarding the event.

Through the years, I have had the pleasure of watching many concerts and plays perform on the historic Embassy Theatre stage. Last Spring, I had the opportunity to attend the Embatini luncheon, a fundraiser held on the Embassy stage. My mom and I had great food and cocktails, watched musical demonstrations on the Grande Page Theatre Pipe Organ, learned more about Embassy history and went on a backstage tour. We had such a fun afternoon there. What a smart way to fundraise!”

Built in 1928, the historic Embassy Theatre features Broadway productions, headliner concerts, educational programming, community events and cinema. The Embassy and adjoining Indiana Hotel play host to a myriad of professional, social and community events each year. From the annual Festival of Trees to corporate meetings and weddings, the Embassy and Indiana Hotel lend a unique ambiance to events of every description. For more information, visit
