Fort Wayne Plans For Stimulus Injection

About $50 million in stimulus funding has been secured for projects in Fort Wayne. It has been reported that more than half of the money will be used to supplement education programs for disadvantaged children, which should translate into new teaching positions. The City could also receive more funding for the addition of 29 police officers.
