United Way to Launch 10-Year Reading Initiative

The United Way is to publicly launch a 10-Year Reading Initiative with a news conference on Friday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m. The news conference will take place at Brentwood Elementary School, 3719 Stafford Drive. United Way encourages a common vision and helps bring the entire community together to find effective solutions to vital issues.

Chamber of Commerce President Kris Foate will be among other Fort Wayne leaders attending the launching:

United Way President and CEO Jerry Peterson, Allen County Education Partnership Executive Director Brian White, Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry, New Haven Mayor Terry McDonald, FWCS Superintendent Wendy Robinson, EACS Superintendent Kay Novotny, Corporate Council President Kirk Kemmish, Economic Development Alliance President Rob Young and students and faculty of FWCS and EACS.
